Your Canoe Trip Day by Day

Day 1

After parking your vehicle at the Saint Pierre de Maillé campsite, we will transport you to Montmorillon by minibus.

You will depart from Montmorillon and explore its old town. You will discover the many mills along the route. You will arrive in Saint Savin and discover its abbey.

Overnight stay: You will spend the night at the Saint Savin campsite.

Day 2

You will leave in the morning for Saint Pierre de Maillé, you will discover the charming village of Nallier, the castles of Cotets and Jutreau and continue your journey in a preserved natural setting.

Overnight stay: Stop at the base, at the Saint Pierre de Maillé campsite. Possibility to rent equipped tents… (You can retrieve your vehicle which is located in the parking lot of our base).

Day 3

You will continue your journey to La Roche Posay and discover a preserved natural heritage.

You can camp overnight at the Yelloh! Village La Roche Posay campsite.

Day 4

You will set off in the morning to explore the Creuse region, sailing to Descartes, the town of the famous philosopher.

You can sleep at the Descartes campsite located on the banks of the Creuse river.

Day 5

You will set off again in the morning on the Creuse and a few kilometers after Descartes, you will continue your route on the Vienne to Pouzay.

You can spend your night at the Tohapi le parc des Allais campsite near Pouzay.

Day 6

You will continue your descent of the Vienne and we will pick you up at the foot of the Château de Chinon.
