This course is only accessible from the end of March to mid-May. It depends on the water level of the river
From Russan, you dive immediately into the Gorges du Gardon and its meanders.
11 km after you pass under the Saint Nicolas Bridge (medieval arch bridge over the Gardon, dating from the 13th century, built from 1245 to 1260).
6 km further on, you arrive at La Baume Saint Vérédème (its Hermitage, its cave; a magnificent site) and you let yourself slide to Collias (attention small dam to be crossed on arrival).
For this route, you stop to bivouac at the place that suits you best and the next day you finish your hike.

9am to 7pm daily from early April to late November
Access :
Private parking at the entrance of the village coming from the road Remoulins / Uzès or at the exit of Collias (direction UZES- REMOULINS) coming from Cabrières or Sanilhac. Permanent shuttles to go to the edge of the Gardon.
