Meeting point at the apa canoeing base in Saint Léon Sur Vézère (private parking). Departure to Montignac by minibus.

Points of interest: Villages of Montignac and St Léon Sur Vézère (classified as "most beautiful villages in France"); castles of Losse and Belcayre; castle and church of St Léon Sur Vézère.

Overnight stay: Municipal campsite (05.53.50.73.16), Camping Le Paradis **** (05.53.50.72.64) Hotel Le Relais de la côte de Jor ** (05.53.50.74.47)

Day 2: St Léon Sur Vézère-Les Eyzies : 18 km

Points of interest: Troglodyte town and village of La Roque St Christophe and La Madeleine, Maison Forte de Reignac, village of Les Eyzies.

Return by minibus to Saint Léon Sur Vézère at the end of the day.

Practical information and instructions:

Included for the hike: navigation equipment (canoe or kayak), a detailed map of the trip, water bottles and minibus shuttles. Luggage transport possible (2€/pers./night). Wild bivouac possible on the Vézère. Reservation of accommodation at your own expense. Reservations recommended one week in advance for this canoe trip.

Rates and payment methods :

25 € per day and per person.

Material

We have Old Town canoes, genuine Canadian canoes with a large load capacity for the trip and a unique navigation quality. The kayaks have a 55-litre canister space which is ideal for equipping such a trip on the Vézère.

Outdoor Adventure

Philippe Colomy, a former competitor and member of the French canoeing team, has a state diploma in canoeing and kayaking and has been sharing his passion with his team for almost 20 years on the Vézère.
