This course is only practicable in summer, when the water level is not sufficient to leave from Russan or Pont Saint Nicolas.
The departure is made of Collias and you go up in the Gorges of Gardon until La Baume Saint Vérédème (its Hermitage, its cave: a splendid site) then you go down again until Collias (attention small dam to be crossed on arrival). You just have to go through the last 8 km. The Pont du Gard is at 2 km of the arrival. An unforgettable final.
For this course, there are several possibilities:
1) Day 1 : round trip Collias La Baume Collias and night at the campsite.
Day 2 : you finish to the Pont du Gard (8 km)
